I am a self-taught artist, living in Wallasey, Merseyside, UK.
Over the years I held numerous fields of employment including computerized engraving, digital archiving, factory work and stonemasonry.
The main aim of my work is to explore the relationship between technology and the human memory. As our use of digital technology increases day to day so does its similarities to our human memory processes become ever apparent. Both are incredibly complex and able to perform vast calculations in a matter of seconds. Yet at the same time both are incredibly fragile. Data on a computer can be erased by a mere slip of the finger, a life time of memories can disappear from the onset of dementia and other such causes.
Please feel free to email me via the contact page for any queries about my work or commissions.
